The majority of my life has been dedicated to creating things. I drew, painted and printed things as a studio art student at Maryville College (now a university). After a short sabbatical from college, I took a valuable detour from the arts and I graduated from Webster University, holding a Bachelors Degree in Management with an emphasis in Marketing.
After graduating, Tolstoi Designs was born and took the shape of a painted furniture company. That lasted for many years (until I got tired of breathing nasty chemicals). The company morphed into the form of graphic and web design in the mid-90s, allowing me to create artistic things on the computer in the form of graphic design for a living.
I am passionate about nature, which I believe shows throughout the majority of my artwork (if given the choice). When I am not sitting at the computer, and weather permitting, you can generally find me playing in the dirt. I like to grow all sorts of things for beauty, for fun and for food.
I have been creating websites since the 1996, a few years after the Internet was became a household word.
My sense of design coupled with my marketing skills allow me help my clients target their audiences.
